10 -20 Volunteers will help clean, sanitize and disinfect cots that have been used in shelters so they are ready to be used if and when the time comes. In New York, the Red Cross responds to 8-9 disasters per day, and trains 600,000 New Yorkers to prepare for and respond effectively to disaster. Cots for a Cause was created to engage volunteers to help us better prepare for emergencies.
