Jr. Junior League: Carter Burden Center for Aging
Saturday Mar 30, 2019 10:00 AM
Saturday, Mar 30, 2019 11:30 AM

Come meet us at the Carter Burden Center for the Aging to help serve the elderly in our community. Junior volunteers will meet with a staff member at the center to learn about what it means to be a homebound senior. Children will then create handmade cards to deliver to the seniors alongside a healthy meal. All deliveries made will be on the Upper East Side in the neighborhood of the Carter Burden Center.

We hope you can join us as we give the gift of hospitality and companionship to people who truly cherish it. In turn, your child will receive the gift of satisfaction knowing that he or she has made a positive difference in the life of another person. This event is suitable for children ages 4 to 12 of NYJL and non-NYJL members. Registration is free of charge, but space is limited.

**There are only 20 volunteer slots available for this event (including both kids and adults) so sign up quickly to reserve your spot. Please indicate total attendees, names, and a contact number.

Important: If you are unable to attend please let the Junior Junior Committee know at least three days prior, so we can refill the spots.

NOTE: To register one or more children, please select "Yes" under the question "Will you be bringing guests?" below. Then using the drop-down menu next to "How many?" specify the number of children you would like to register.
