Jr. Junior League partners with Social Promise to teach principles of philanthropy to New York City children ages 7-12. Join us in promoting family volunteerism.
Social Promise, an NYC-based nonprofit, supports critical health and educational resources serving impoverished Ugandan communities. Social Promise believes children have a natural ability to empathize and the desire to help others at a young age. By educating them and giving them the necessary tools to make informed decisions, this Jr. Junior League course, offered in partnership with Social Promise, seeks to foster a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and philanthropy.
During this session, students, ages 7-12, will learn what philanthropy is, how they can make meaningful choices to last a lifetime, and how they can encourage family and friends to volunteer.
NOTE: To register one or more children, please select "Yes" under the question "Will you be bringing guests?" below. Then using the drop-down menu next to "How many?" specify the number of children you would like to register.
