Jr. Junior League partners with Social Promise to teach principles of philanthropy to preschool and elementary aged New York City children. Join us in promoting family volunteerism.

Social Promise, an NYC-based nonprofit, supports critical health and educational resources serving impoverished Ugandan communities. Social Promise believes children have a natural ability to empathize and the desire to help others at a young age. By educating them and giving them the necessary tools to make informed decisions, this Jr. Junior League course, offered in partnership with Social Promise, seeks to foster a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and philanthropy.

During this session, students, ages 3-6, will learn what philanthropy is, how they can give their time, talents and treasures and how to talk about volunteerism with family and friends.
